K2BHealth is a company specialized in technology solutions for the healthcare sector, covering both clinical and administrative needs. It develops systems aimed at improving operational efficiency, user experience, and quality of care in both public and private healthcare institutions.

Caremove is an integrated solution composed of a web application and a mobile app, designed to efficiently manage patient transfer orders within healthcare facilities. The platform allows nursing and administrative staff to create, monitor, and review requests via the web, while the personnel in charge of transfers receive notifications on the mobile app, can accept or reject requests, and indicate the start and end of the transfer in real time.

Scope

QAlified was responsible for validating the quality and reliability of the system, conducting a comprehensive testing process on both platforms: web and mobile.

Functional testing focused on the critical flows of the transfer process: request creation, state management, system interactions, and push notifications. Documented test cases were defined and executed to validate all possible state transitions, including validations for invalid or inconsistent states.

Functional integration testing was carried out to ensure synchronization between the web application and the mobile app. For example, it was verified that when a request is created on the web, the stretcher bearer receives a notification on their phone and can update the status from the app, with immediate reflection on the web system.

Compatibility tests were also executed across browsers and mobile devices. Functional test cases were reused and run on a strategic selection of browsers and devices—both physical and cloud-based platforms—to ensure a consistent user experience.

The work also included security, usability, and performance testing, which are essential due to the sensitive nature of the healthcare environment and the need to ensure a robust, efficient, and secure solution.
