SoyDelivery is a technology company which offers innovative logistics solutions. Through a route optimization system, they make it possible to reduce delivery costs and wait times, thus having a positive impact on consumer experience.
The service offered by the platform makes it possible to manage deliveries for products or services from start to finish, from the time the request is entered to the creation of routes, assignment of drivers, management of visits and deliveries.
Scope
Due to the high demand received by the platform in Uruguay and the expansion of the business to other markets, the QAlified team carried out performance tests for the solution.
The scope of the tests included the web back-end, and the two native mobile applications, one of them for the end user, and one for the driver.
Performance tests were carried out for the solution. The reality scenarios to be simulated were modeled through the most critical flows. Test scripts were created and different test scenarios were executed, increasing the amount of concurrent users with a populated database.
The primary indicators for the application, which operates in the Amazon cloud (AWS), were monitored.
The work was done together with the development team to evaluate different solutions to identified bottlenecks, and different improvements were applied to reduce response times.
