Public entity with more than 2,000 employees implemented the SAP Human Capital Management module.
The module offers a self-management web portal for employees, where they can check their fact sheets, paychecks, leaves, training, and other relevant information.
Scope
Before the system went into product, the QAlified team carried out performance tests for the SAP HCM system implemented by the Human Resources department.
In order to carry out the tests, load, stress and concurrency scenarios were defined for the main functionalities in the web portal, along with various heavy processing operations.
The tests were executed simulating different bandwidths, since it is possible to access the module from across the country where connectivity is not always the same.
The execution of tests was done in coordination with the infrastructure team, and, while they were being executed, the servers were also monitored along with all communication links.
At the end of this phase, a report was delivered with details related to the tests, conclusions, and recommendations.
