Organization in charge of training elementary and middle school teachers and social educators, with a student management web system developed with Odoo technology used by teachers and students from different careers.
The system makes it possible to sign up for careers, courses, and exams. It is also possible to check schedules, request scholarships, among others. At the same time, it makes it easier for the school faculty to manage lesson plans and activities related to each course. The system caters to 33 establishments within the country and has, approximately, more than 76,000 users.
Scope
The following testing and quality assurance activities were carried out:
Functional tests using planned testing and exploratory testing techniques, evaluating the solution using different profiles and services.
A quality analysis for the system including a functional and usability analysis, and research on the existing support documentation.
The functional analysis was based on different scenarios, where the most critical cases within the application were worked on.
The usability analysis was carried out based on tests with real users, who were assigned tasks to perform within the system, thus evaluating their performance and experience of use. To complement this work, the application’s usability was analyzed based on heuristics.
At the same time, the existing documentation was analyzed, evaluating its capacity to support functional performance, and the materials necessary to maintain the system.
